Dupa ce trupa "Girls Aloud" a hotarat sa ia o pauza, Cheryl Cole si-a lansat primul album solo. Intitulat "3 Words", acesta a fost foarte bine primit iar single-urile "Fight for this love", "Parachute" si "3 Words" l-au ajutat sa urce si mai mult in topuri. In cadrul "Cheryl Cole's Night", aceasta a intepretat live aceste 3 single-uri.
After "Girls Aloud" decided they would partake in a year-long hiatus to pursue solo projects, Cheryl Cole released her first solo album "3 Words". It was well received and the singles "Fight for this love", "Parachute" and "3 Words" helped it to climb in the charts. In the show "Cheryl Cole's Night" she sang live these 3 singles.
