Israel Kamakawiwoʻole was an Hawaiian musician who died in 1997. He became famous for his 1993 album "Facing Future" which included an ukulele version of the song "Over the Rainbow". The original song belongs to Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg, and was sung by Judy Garland.
